With its frescoed ceilings, marble fireplace, and crystal chandeliers, Elizabeth and Andrew selected an unparalleled venue full of grandeur. Immersing the design in the Italian High Renaissance style of the estate, they wanted to celebrate the architectural details and provenance presented by this unique estate. From the grand staircases to the delicate gilded detailing, every element inspired the design. Monochromatic shades of blue found in the floral painting above the doors in the drawing room complimented the palette of neutral tones in the estate’s exterior façade and give new meaning to the time-honored tradition of “something blue.” Their intimate ceremony space was overflowing with blooms and an abundance of candlelight. Set against a sea of magnolias, their alfresco reception table incorporated rich textures. Elegant hand lettering juxtaposed with contemporary vessels and matte gold flatware are an intentional fusion of old and new. A quartet of crystal chandeliers from hung from the branches, casting a beautiful glow over the dance floor.
