Alexa and Chris chose to host their wedding at a private estate with luxurious on-site accommodations where guests could come and stay for the weekend. Surrounded by lush green trees and a small lake, the estate feels like a home away from home. Alexa’s custom-designed floral lace wedding gown inspired many of the design details. A grounded floral arch seamlessly blended in with the surroundings, creating a beautiful space for the ceremony. Vellum menus and calligraphy place cards welcomed guests to the table. Guests started off with dinner with individual meat and cheese boards paired with Spanish cava as a nod to the couple’s trip to Spain. The second course was a beef filet with whipped potatoes and asparagus, the dish Chris ordered on his first date with Alexa. It was followed by a pan-roasted salmon with a lemon butter sauce, one of the dishes they ate while vacationing in the Amalfi Coast. After cake and champagne, the couple drove to their private cottage on the estate in their convertible adorned with a flower garland.
